The Atlantic City Council has confirmed four separate multi-day music festivals in Bader Field. Even though we are all undoubtedly excited about Kenny Chesney and Metallica being some of the bands that have been named, the most interesting one on the list is probably Phish.
The dates were June 15-17 and 24-25 and September 22-23 and 29-30. Bader Field hosted one of the four DMB Caravan events in 2011, but unlike last year, the city hopes to make camping available for all the festivals. Those changes could come as quickly as the next months officials said Wednesday. Phish last played in Atlantic City at Boardwalk Hall for Halloween 2010.
The next festival will be the tenth in Phish's illustrious career. Last year, the famed Watkins Glen International in upstate New York hosted Super Ball IX.
