Schedule Announced for Jam Cruise 9

The latest and greatest in mobile Jam Festivals, Jam Cruise 9, announced its schedule for the weekend of January 4-9, 2011.  Not only do you have the choice of seeing Bob Weir or The Rhythm Devils, you also get to cruise around the Caribbean for five days with stops in Mexico, Honduras and Costa Maya with old friends, new friends and artists alike!

In addition to the amazing musical lineup, other activities include a Texas Hold 'Em poker tournament with Ivan Neville, a Jam Cruise Wedding, daily yoga classes, guitar/drum/keyboard workshops and so much more.  Like the whole being on a cruise thing.

For those fortunate few, Jam Cruise 9 will be setting sail out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL on January 4, 2011. This is
shaping up to be a red letter year for the Jam Cruise crew.

Lotus Gearing Up For February NYC Run

East Coast favorites, Lotus, are gearing up for their annual two-night run in New York City. For those of you who haven't had the privilege of hearing one of the best up-and-coming bands working today, now is your chance. If you were lucky enough to attend any of the short lived Rothbury Festivals, then you probably overheard every one either screaming for "Carl" or talking about how sick Lotus was.

Lotus will be taking the stage on Friday February 4, 2011 at The Mercury Lounge, a great intimate club, with amazing sound and an even better vibe.  Then again the following night on Saturday February 5, 2011 at Terminal 5, a heady NYC favorite. Tickets are only available as a package for both nights, but you'll thank me when it's all said and done.

Tickets are on sale now. $32.50 for the bundle, plus your mind blown. When it's cold outside, Lotus brings the fire. Kind of can't beat that. If you'd like to hear some tracks before you take the plunge, check out their album Nomad. It'll Shirley (Leslie Nielsen reference) be a favorite for years to come.
