Summer Camp Music Festival announced which acts on its previously confirmed lineup will be keeping the party going into the wee hours of the morning late night in the barn. Les Claypool and the Dead Kenny G's are set to play Friday night. The brand new electronic supergroup project of Gigantic Underground Conspiracy featuring members of Big Gigantic and Conspirator, takes the Saturday evening slot. Pretty Lights will wrap things up on Sunday. All late-night sets are in addition to their regularly scheduled festival set that everyone can take in.
Set to take place in Chillicothe, Illinois from May 25 to 27 of this year, Summer Camp is famous, or infamous perhaps, for its sweaty, grimey late-night throwdowns in the "Red Barn," which is literally a big red barn near the front gate.
Tickets to the late-nights are purchased separate from general admission and run about $30.00 each night. For the past few years, tickets have sold out extremely quickly and many people were left scrambling, so be sure to keep an eye out for on-sale announcements coming soon.
Summer Camp is headlined, yet again, by moe. and Umphrey's McGee and will be joined by Gov't Mule, Primus, Weir, Robinson and Greene Acoustic Trio, EOTO, Keller Williams, Gogol Bordello, Cornmeal and the late-night artists.
Festival passes are on sale now via the official website for $175, taxes and fees included. For more information on Summer Camp and all your favorite festivals, visit our 2012 Festival Guide for complete lineups, ticketing information and analysis. We'll see you in the woods!
