With the Florida festival season around the corner, Suwanee Springfest promoters announced today another round of artists and special sets. The latest additions to the already stellar lineup include Tea Leaf Green, Packway Handle Band, Bobby Miller and The Virginia Daredevils, Grant Peeples, Sanctum Sully, Red June, Taylor Martin’s Engine, Tennessee Firearms, Short Straw Pickers and Uproot Hootenanny as well as two special sets with Tony Rice, who will sit in with Larry Keel and Natural Bridge and also with The Infamous Stringdusters.
These acts will join headliners Yonder Mountain String Band, Donna the Buffalo, Justin Townes Earle, Emmitt-Nershi Band as well as 50 plus acts over the four-day festival. Now in its 16th year, Suwanee Springfest has become a rite of passage for music fans in the south who congregate yearly to have a rootin-tootin', finger-pickin', down-home good time.
Held at the majestic Spirit of the Suwanee Music Park, in Live Oak, Florida, the festival will be held March 22 to 25, 2012. Three-day weekend passes are available now for only $150.00 and children age 12 and under are free of charge. Discounts are offered for students and retired and active military.
