For most people, summer is a time to sit back, relax, spend time with friends and just do whole bunch of nothing for a few months. If that's your plan, why not stop over at the 8th annual Mountain Jam in Hunter Mountain, New York?
Warren Haynes’ (Gov’t Mule, The Dead, Allman Brothers Band) festival announced its first round of artists today. The festival will take place May 31 through June 3, and will have camping for RVs and tents along with VIP passes available through the Mountain Jam website.
Headliners include Steve Winwood, Gov’t Mule, and some supporting acts like The Roots, The Word (ft. Robert Randolph, John Medeski, and the North Mississippi Allstars), Michael Franti and the reunion of Ben Folds Five.
Tickets are currently at Price Level 2 and are $150.00 (camping not included), and the second level VIP tix will go for about $440.00.
Below is the full initial lineup and a video of John Oates sitting in with Umphrey’s McGee at 2011's event.
