In it's third consecutive year, Catskill Chill has topped the list of many veteran festival-goers events to hit this summer. With the festival being just a few short weeks away, Catskill Chill has just announced their daily artist schedule.
Taking place September 7 - 9th at Camp Minglewood in Hancock, NY Catskill Chill will feature headliners from a vast array of genres including Yonder Mountain String Band, Lotus, Conspirator and Soulive to name a few.
Starting on Friday September 7th Catskill Chill's lineup of artists will take to three stages: The Main Stage, B Stage and Club Chill Stage. Music on the Main and Club Chill stages will go until the wee hours of 4 and 5 a.m. respectively.
Friday night's acts include Disco Biscuit's side project turned main project Conspirator on the Main Stage and drummer Allen Aucion's side project Dr. Fameus on the B Stage. Late-night acts for Friday are Eoto who will play from 2 - 4 a.m. on the main stage while the master of the keys Jeff Bujak is on the Club Chill Stage.
Continuing into Saturday, local up-and-coming rockers Consider The Source will open up the day with "Special Guests" on the Main Stage at 12:30 p.m. The rest of the day's Main Stage acts include Rubblebucket, Yonder Mountain String Band and Particle among others.
Headstash home-boys Pigeons Playing Ping Pong will bring their energetic mix of funk, rock, electronica and jazz to the Club Chill Stage Sunday at 6:30 followed by Lotus at the Main Stage at 8:00.
For some low-key yet exhilirating downtempo vibes, fans should catch Derek VanScoten (D.V.S.*) for his last of two sets at the festival at midnight on the Club Chill Stage. Finally, closing out the festival will be newcoming super-group Kick Rocks, made up of Jon Gutwillig (Disco Biscuits) Mike Greenfield (Lotus), Clay Parnell (Brothers Past) and Eli Winderman (Dopapod).
